All our V8 engine rebuilds are carried out the same. All engines are top hat sleeved with new parts fitted throughout. A new water pump and oil pump is also fitted. The engine is balanced before assembly for smooth running. Cylinder heads are checked for hardness and reconditioned. All parts are chemically cleaned before installation.
Note: The inlet manifold and the retain ed components are not reconditioned along with all sensory items to operate the engine. These are not covered in this rebuild.

As per the above 3.9 engine ovehaul, a 4.6 litre alloy V8 engine is sourced and tested. Once all pre tests are passed we correcting some major flaws by top hat sleeving the engine block and using race stud kits to secure the cylinder heads.

Like our gearboxes the LT230 transfercase is re-raced, stripped, cleaned and inspected.

As swaybars make a huge difference to the on road handling and part of the engineering requirements we use the factory sway bars on every build. The problem with swaybars is they limit the suspension travel. A standard sway bar can be manually disconnected at one link to give full wheel travel.
To make the disconnection of the swaybar very easy we have manufactured our own custom swaybars using a free wheeling hub to lock and unlock the sway bar. Very quick and easy to operate and available for front and rear suspension.
When all the axle assembly upgrades are been completed it is worth considering replacing all 4 wheel bearing hub assemblies. We only fit genuine WABCO units as they are the highest quality and highly recommended if installing tyres greater than 32".
