If fitting a new engine or gearbox it is worth considering installing a new genuine Land Rover clutch.

To suit, All alloy V8 Land Rover engines 3.9,4.0,4.6 and 300Tdi engines.

LT230 to replace the Borg Warner Viscous T/Case

The late 1989 onwards Range Rovers are factory fitted with a Borg Warner viscous drive transfercases. These transfercases are not very strong. It is our recommendation to replace the viscous transfercase with the proven LT230 transfercase.

NOTE: If your vehicle already has a LT230 transfercase fitted this option is not required.

This price is to supply a second hand kit including gearbox mounts, handbrake assembly, propshafts etc. If you want this overhauled you will need to select either one of the two LT230 options below.

LT230 Transfercase overhaul

Like our gearboxes the LT230 transfercase is re-raced, stripped, cleaned and inspected.

Select this to rebuild the LT230 transfercase.

LT230 Transfercase Helical Centre Diff Upgrade

Highly recommended especially in the high horsepower builds, the helical centre diff upgrade automatically transfers power front to back with out the selection of the centre diff lock. Helps with towing and reduces front wheel wheel spin.

Dashboard Replacement

If wanting to upgrade the dash system in a Classic RR up to 1993. We can install and wire in including firewall modifications to install a Soft Dash version from a 1994 RRC or from a 1995 onwards Discovery Series 1.

Estimate only and only available for Fire Storm builds.

Swaybar with disconnects

As swaybars make a huge difference to the on road handling and part of the engineering requirements we use the factory sway bars on every build. The problem with swaybars is they limit the suspension travel. A standard sway bar can be manually disconnected at one link to give full wheel travel.

To make the disconnection of the swaybar very easy we have manufactured our own custom swaybars using a free wheeling hub to lock and unlock the sway bar.  Very quick and easy to operate and available for front and rear suspension.

External Wheel Carrier

As the RRC is a little short in rear cargo space, you can add an external wheel carrier removing the spare from the rear cargo area.

High pinion 9" Rear Diff Upgrade

If selected a LS driveline package it is highly recommended to upgrade the rear diff as the standard rear diff is well underrated even with all the upgrades we carry out. The low 9" diff can not be used with the LS drivetrain. The Hi 9  reduces propshaft universal angles and keeps the diff pinion well off the ground. With a 9' crown wheel with extra pinion support these diffs are as tough as nails and only reduces ground clearance by 15mm. Complete with rear axles, diff, ARB locker, diff housing  and rear propshaft..

Low Pinion 9" Rear Diff Upgrade

If wanting a much stronger rear diff setup than Land Rover offer the selection of the Ford 9" upgrade is your best option. The low pinion 9" diff  can be installed in all RRC and D1's with standard driveline packages. Fitted with an ARB rear diff lock and 31 spline axles offers the best rear axle strength without sacrificing to much ground clearance. Complete with rear axles, diff, ARB locker, diff housing  and rear propshaft..

Price subject to international exchange rates and freight alterations!

Lower Link Control Arms

Upgraded rear lower control arms with a johnny joint ball joint at the chassis end. These upgraded control arms are far stronger than the Land Rover original arms and reduce rear wheel steering, or torque steering by replacing the large chassis mounted rubber bush with the more stable johnny joint. The johnny joint also allows for easier rear axle movement.

Highly recommended for LS powered vehicles.
