This option is not available anywhere else apart from in a storm series build for the Discovery Series 2. This is achieved by moving the front axle forward by 1.5" and moving the rear axle rearward by 3". While this conversion is been done the rear suspension system including the Watts Link is replaced using the proven "A" frame from the Defender giving freer movement of the rear suspension.

The longer wheel base also involves tubbing the body allowing the vehicle to be built lower keeping the vehicles centre of gravity lower than the Dust Storm build. Also gives greater stability at higher speeds which is great for long distance touring. These vehicles once completed have a 5" wider wheel track and a 4.5" longer wheelbase than a standard Discovery Series 2. So as you can see with the height increased by around 5" with a 35" tyre and suspension lift the overall vehicle still  has a better weight distribution than standard.
