6mm steel plates to be permanently welded to the inside of the two chassis rails. The plates are welded to the rear of the engine mounts and run past the removable cross member by 100mm. Or both front and rear of the Discovery Series 2 chassis. The plate is shaped perfectly and has recesses to be fully welded giving a professional result. These plates are fitted to strengthen the front rails to stop them from bending upwards during heavy use. Check your chassis for signs of bending by running your hands along the chassis rails just in front of the removable cross member.
